Dental Sleep Medicine
A custom oral appliance for snoring and mild-to-moderate sleep apnea — without a CPAP.
What it includes
After a sleep study (we’ll help you get one), we fabricate a custom oral appliance that holds your jaw forward at night. Comfortable, quiet, no mask, no hose.
Why we do it this way
CPAP works — when patients use it. Many don’t. An oral appliance is a clinically validated alternative for the right patients, and we’re trained specifically in dental sleep medicine to fit one properly.
Common questions
About dental sleep medicine.
Do I need a sleep study first?
+
Yes. A diagnosis from a sleep physician (in-lab or at-home study) is required before we make an appliance. We’ll guide you through it.
Will insurance cover the appliance?
+
Medical insurance — not dental — typically covers oral appliances for diagnosed sleep apnea. We help with the medical claim.
How long does an appliance last?
+
Most appliances last 3–5 years. We check fit at every cleaning visit.
